ACTE announce Dual SIM heavy industrial Cellular VPN router
ACTE, the specialist distributor of wireless M2M Communications products have announced the U.K launch of the Robustel R2000 rugged cellular router offering enhanced cellular connectivity and WLAN for Machine to Machine applications.
R2000 is a rugged, programmable, highly efficient and cost effective VPN gateway. It allows provision for secure, reliable and seamless data connectivity over 4G, 3G or 2G cellular connections. As with all Robustel routers, R2000 features dual SIM support to allow for roaming between networks or when data limits are reached.
With a highly specified Cellular interface, R2000 boasts 4G / LTE speeds, up to 150 / 50 Mbps (DL/UL) and 3G HSPA+ speeds up to 21.6 / 5.76Mbps (DL/UL).
An optional WLAN interface (pictured), R2000 supports 802.11b/g/n, either in Access Point or client mode. Configurable ethernet ports consist of 2 x LAN or 1 x LAN, 1 x WAN (10/100Mbps) with a 1.5KV magnet isolation protection built in.
R2000 boasts multiple VPN tunnelling methods via IPsec/OpenVPN or GRE. With a wide input voltage of 9-26V DC, the R2000 metal enclosure can be easily mounted into a variety of industrial applications via a DIN rail or wall mount bracket and separate earth.
On board status LED’s allow for a quick interrogation and deployed units can be remotely managed, rebooted or updated via a built in watchdog or timer.
Robustel produce several ranges of cost effective industrial routers, terminals and gateways operating on 4G, 3G or GPRS.
